Champion Tier - Saltmarsh - City Gates

Hey everyone, and happy release Monday! After much excitement, I'm pleased to bring you my first battle map for the Saltmarsh series, The City Gates. 

This is the first of 30 locations around Saltmarsh that I plan to map, and once I'm done, you will have a fully detailed and mapped-out Saltmarsh for your gaming pleasure! 

This map is a 40x30 map featuring the city gates, towers, guard camps, and a few vendor stalls along the main road leading into Saltmarsh. I have included both interior and exterior versions for the gate towers and main gate to give you variety and more depth. 

Additionally, for this release, there are nine total variants, as detailed here:

• Cool Day: This is a wind-swept, cool, and breezy mood. I wanted to make it feel both bright and a tad washed out from the glaring sun.
• Dry Sun: I wanted this map to feel dry and acrid as the scorching sun burns the backs of your players approaching the gate
• Sun Washed: This is a very sun-faded version focusing on the age and weathering of this old gate.
• Warm Sands: A more vibrant and warm feel to this one with richer colors
• Dark Skies: With looming rain clouds and puddles across the ground, your party better find shelter before the rain comes!
• Rain: Same as the Dark Skies version but with rain
• Gloom: For all my Dark Fantasy fans, a thick fog rolls into this dark and gloomy atmosphere 
• Night: The glow of the flickering torchlight can be seen from atop the gates as the guards call down to you, trying to enter Saltmarsh 
• Haunted: An eerie green glow and fog roll over this moody and haunted version

This map release comes with the following variants:

• Grid / No Grid
• 4k / 8k Resolution
• Webp files in 4k / 8k 
• A VTT sizing guide
• Clean Variants of the Day maps (with no god rays) 
• Day / Night / Rain / Fog
• 9 Moods to set the perfect scene
• Interior / Exterior versions of all 

The next in the Saltmarsh series will include the guard barracks and jail, which will contain the upper floor, roof, and jail portion below.

I still have the Interactive Tome of Strahd project to finish up, along with another Lunch Break Heroes adventure at the end of the month, so there will be a good mix of lots of exciting maps this month!
