Sneak Peek - Dark Woods

Hey everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Today I bring you a small section of my next map; The Dark Woods.
I have realized it has been a while since I updated some of my forest maps, and since most dark realms like Barovia are covered in pine forests, you'll no doubt be running a lot of encounters there!
This forest map will be a 40x40 map and will be wilderness only (no signs of human life such as roads, bridges, ruins, etc.). It will have plenty of depth, elevation, and many trees, but not so close that it hides the terrain for your players.
Additionally, I'll be creating many color variants for this map to include weather and other moods.
I wanted to focus on the natural details of this forest map and hope to make this my new nature standard going forward! I plan on doing a few more like this so you have some variety in your forest maps for running encounters.
