Sneak Peek - Grim Harvest - A Lunch Break Heroes Adventure

Hello everyone, and a very happy Thanksgiving today to our community members that celebrate it! No matter what you might be doing today, I wish you all a very peaceful and relaxing day. I hope you get to spend time with family, your chosen family, or even by yourself if you're like me and find a nice quiet night at home peaceful and relaxing!

Though I say this often (yet don't feel like I say it enough), I am extremely thankful for our DM Andy Maps community here and the wonderful TTRPG community as a whole. All of you supporting my map-making endeavors have helped me bring many fantasy settings to life, and I am thankful every day to do what I'm passionate about. My true passion is spending time on my craft and honing my skills to bring you the best battlemaps I can make to help your games come alive! 

With that said, I'm very pleased to share with you the progress I've made on my next map, slated for this upcoming Monday. For those of you who don't know yet, I have been working with many wonderful content creators, such as Pyram King and Lunch Break Heroes, to build battlemaps for their fantastic ideas. Once per month, I work with Lunch Break Hereos to build maps for their original adventures, and this time, I have a sneak peek from "Grim Harvest."

I'll share the full adventure synopsis on Monday, but let's just say that your players may not like what is lurking in the massive fields of wheat, swaying back and forth in the setting sun. As they explore the farmhouse, they will find grizzle discoveries and will need to find a way to deal with this horrible creature that plagues the other farmers. 

This map will be a massive wheat field map with a two-story farmhouse in the center. The map is on a 50x60 grid and will have tons of space to explore and move around. I've always loved the idea of something creeping through the tall stalks of wheat where everyone's vision is obscured, and only the horrible sounds the creature makes can be heard! 

Additionally, I'm working on creating two versions of the central farmhouse so I can make this map more versatile for you to use with or without the adventure! 

Fall is my favorite season, and I wanted to add a warm amber yet cold feel to the map to make it still dark & moody.
