Hi everyone and happy Release Monday!
For today's map release, I bring to you the western gate and black carriage. This is my biggest sized map I've ever released at 100 x 60 grid and gives you a massive area to host a number of encounters on the Old Misty road. I wanted to capture the rocky and hilly terrain this road winds through and give the sense that even the hills and trees are looming over your adventurers much like the castle looms over the land.
This map includes the main road which heads north and bends to the west, passing through the western gate. At the northern tip the road branches off where the black carriage awaits your players. Beyond that there is plenty of elevation, hills, and trees for you to plan many encounters and I suggest taking advantage of that distance and height!
Each map contains a version without the carriage as well so you can still make use of this map if you do not include the black carriage encounter.
Just to remind everyone, as much as I wish I could, I'm not able to create the black carriage as a separate token as the ToC's I follow from Inkarnate prevent me from creating a .png image for distribution.
For my Champion Tier Patrons, this map features the following variants:
- Gridded / NoGrid
- 4k / 8k resolution jpgs
- Day / Night
- Rain
- Clean Version (No fog, lights, etc)
- All maps come with and without the black carriage
- Webp files in both 4k and 8k sized for VTT (along with a sizing guide)
I am juggling a few map projects at a time, but you can expect to see in the coming weeks:
- A new Lunch Break Heroes original adventure (This is very Mary Shelley inspired!)
- Interactive Tome of Strahd Chapter 9
- Road to Ravenloft
- Forest Road party camp
- Gulthias Tree Version 2.0

2024-12-27 23:59:35 +0000 UTCI really wish I could provide that PNG file for the wagon but sadly it's against the terms & conditions of Inkarnate which is the program I use to create my maps (no distribution of PNG files). I used to create PNG files for the Vistani wagons and other various assets I created but I had to take them down. It pains me to let anyone down but this is one of those rules I'm afraid I must follow. I did, however, create a version without the wagon, so if you were to cut out the wagon yourself you'd have a map to use the token on (as long as you don't distribute that file and it's for private use only you'll be okay to do so). So sorry!

2022-09-07 23:54:27 +0000 UTCYes, you are correct, the min is 50 for Foundry. For this map, I would suggest using the 8k webp file at 84 PPI with dims of 8400x5040 as this one will work. Hope that helps!
