Sneak Peek - The Interactive Tome of Strahd: Chapter 6

Hey everyone and happy Sneak Peek Thursday!
For today's preview, I am showing off a bit of the chapel I built last night within Castle Ravenloft. This map is being created for the Interactive Tome of Strahd: Chapter 6 and will include the chapel (exterior / interior), the chapel garden and of course the overlook.
This map features the crux of Strahd's transformation and such a pivotal part of his story. I am planning on creating a version before the wedding with emphasis on color and brightness, and a version after the wedding where the floors are seeped in blood as the fog rolls in over darkened skies.
If you are not yet familiar with this third party adventure yet, I highly recommend it! You can find it here on the DMsGuild. I am running it for my CoS game and my players are just loving it! It's a great way to "show" and not "tell" the history of Strahd in a fun interactive way.
The full map will be released on Monday so stay tuned!

Thank you! I'm excited to do the Castle proper soon. I wanted to hit all the key locations first while I work my way toward the Castle but the good news is I am nearly done! Later today I'll be writing an update post and will go over this in detail so look out for that later :)

I'm nearly done w/ the CoS module core locations, just need to hit Argynvostholt and Castle Ravenloft. If you have any other suggestions, let me know! I'll be hitting all the content creator locations as well as more generic locations.

2022-05-12 18:11:14 +0000 UTCAwesome!! My players just finished chapter 1 but they have been stuck in the swamps of Berez so not much downtime for them. Fortunately, our wizard is also an elf so she uses her 4 hours when not trancing within her Tiny Hut spell to study the Tome. As for the prologue, I really need to make a map for that! I started with chapter 1 because it was combat heavy and didn't think much about making a map for the prologue, however you're not the first to ask me for it :) I'll have to slate that in sooner rather than later. Until then, I would recommend this manor map I made which has plenty of courtyard space and has a noble feel to it. https://www.patreon.com/posts/champion-tier-of-60144924
