Sneak Peek - Interactive Tome of Strahd: Chapter 4

Hey everyone!

Thought I would share a bit of my upcoming map, The Interactive Tome of Strahd: Chapter 4. This map will use the same castle layout as chapter 3, however I will be removing the fighting pit and jousting area from the chapel gardens and making the garden area fuller. I will also be adding two new rooms to the map; Room K10, the Dining Hall and Room K36, Strahd's Dining Room. You can even use this map for dinner with the count in present day Barovia since I have not started work on the Ravenloft maps yet.

Spent about 5 hours just working on the pipe organ last night since this is the main focal point of the dining hall room. I love the creepy statues beset into the pipe organ from either side and wanted to capture such a gothic landmark as this piece correctly. Other than the black cape, fangs, and widow's peak hair, the pipe organ is the main thing that reminds me of Count Dracula and I feel is one of the most important features in the castle.

Also, special thanks to James RPG Art for his amazing art work on the dining hall location. This proved to be very inspirational for designing out this room. If you have not yet seen his stuff, you can check him out here. His illustrations are perfect as player handouts and backdrops for "theater of the mind" scenes that don't require battle maps.

Hope you enjoy this one once released!

Cheers,

DM Andy

Nice! I just joined your Patreon because I already ran two sessions using your maps and felt I seriously owed you a big part of the immersion my players felt. So excited to see the diner hall of Ravenloft coming!

Glad you like it! I have fond memories of the dining hall from running dinner with Strahd there :)
