Sneak Peak - Krezk - Pool & Shrine

As I wrap up the work on my very first written encounter and map for the Sanguine Rose, I started my next project which will be the Krezk pool & shrine. Here is a sneak peak of the shrine and a bit of the pool. I wanted to capture the pools enchanted essence and the shrines ancient, yet dilapidated feel.
I plan on making the roof a .PNG file for this one in addition to creating exterior / interior versions of the map with and without the roof (of course I will do day / night and snow / no snow).
I also have plans for making a version with the waters corrupted and the gazebo destroyed (per the module) by that jealous Strahd.

Hey James! Thanks so much for your feedback. This is only a sneak peak as it’s still a work in progress. The full map will be 30x30 and will include the full pond and northern wall along with the shrine. I’ll post up the finished map once it is done.

2021-08-07 02:17:42 +0000 UTCHey Andy, beautiful work as always - a little feedback on this map though, when my group went there, we did the full Sergei's embrace as this was where the symbol of ravenkind was. I had Strahd turn up and there was a significant battle. Your map would have been a bit unusable due to the size. A full sized map of the pond and rotunda was needed by my group including the outer wall. Yours is stunning, just not big enough for an encounter there. Keep up the great work as always.

2021-08-07 01:34:24 +0000 UTCAwesome to hear! Hopefully it'll be ready by then! I know my group had zero interest in checking out the pool, even with Ireena with them. But that's okay because I homebrewed my own Sergei arc. They will eventually need to return to the pool to activate the Sunsword once they get it, but first, they will need to retrieve Sergei's ashes :P
