Hi everyone! DM Andy here and I just wanted to give you some updates on what is in the pipeline for release in the next coming weeks. I'd also like to thank you once again for your patronage and support. You help keep me caffeinated so I can continue to work on maps (instead of sleep haha)! But it is 100% a labor of love and I'm so excited to continue to build maps that you and your players will find useful and awesome. In the next few weeks you should see:
- Old Bonegrinder (Interior and Exterior versions)
- The Megaliths behind Old Bonegrinder, including an underground shrine to the Forest Fane (as outlined in the popular DragnaCarta guide)
- The Goat Pen for Berez
- Tser Falls
Outside of that, I may do another Old Svalich Road map which branches to the east toward Castle Ravenloft and to the west toward Old Bonegrinder. I might include the Black Coach here. Not sure how useful this would be so if you'd like to see something like this, make sure you let me know in the comments!
Berez is mostly done and I just have two more maps I'd like to do; Ulrich's Manor and the Overgrown Garden (Splitting them up because on the area map they take up hundreds of feet). And maybe a generic ruined village map in the swamps (I ran an awesome bloated zombie encounter there and it grossed my players out).
Once those are done, that should be the entire campaign up until Vallaki (Including Tsolenka Pass, Amber Temple, and Berez) done.
Then there is Vallaki.. oh Vallaki! We have so much work to do don't we? I have my one map so far including Blinsky's Toys but I do plan on hitting all the key locations and including some lesser locations (Such as the shores of Lake Zarovich, a water map for the Bluto encounter, the northern gate to include a boat rental shop and Bluto's home, and the Orphanage from the popular MandyMod guide).
So as you can see I will be quite busy hitting all the location in Barovia! So stay tuned, because I still have so much good stuff to show you.
Cheers!
DM Andy

Wow thank you so much! My party is facing the same issue as they are about 3/4 of the way through haha. But I plan to run CoS again. Maybe you can give your players reasons to re-visit certain area! π

2021-06-19 19:10:55 +0000 UTCI found you all too late in my first campaign in Barovia - we have about 7 sessions to go - but these are by far the best maps around for Curse of Strahd. Your work is just incredible.

2021-06-19 09:01:02 +0000 UTCSo the Tser Falls map I'm working on is focused on the roads and bridge rather than the falls itself. I do include a drop of water but this is by no means the actual falls, which seems extremely high up and hundreds of meters from the bridge itself. Not wanting to create a massively long map (for performance reasons) it will include the rushing water and a sort of "mini" water fall to give it the sense of rapidly flowing water from the west.

2021-06-10 20:53:41 +0000 UTCI am keen to see your take on Tser Falls. In Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, there was a cave behind the falls which was the lair of a derranged dwarven trapper, Varikov. who became a spy for Strahd and stopped hunting wolves to instead hunt and flay people (p62 and map on p.80-83). Also, I have noticed some people have been interpreting the falls as under the bridge, rather than further back. The bridge should drop down into a gorge with the river, and the falls slightly further back by around 400 metres/1/4 of a mile.
