I present to you from The Frigid Mountains; The Roc Nest! I have a lot of fun with the Roc as I have been foreshadowing it as my players have ascended up the pass. This weekend they will encounter the Roc while attempting to navigate the bridge up to the Temple and there is a pretty good chance the Roc is going to snatch one of them up and take it back to it's nest.

I built this map for a rescue encounter in mind as my players attempt to scale the icy rock cliffs of the mountain while there is a very angry Roc protecting his food (your poor player!) I also added a few nooks into the cliff side which you can use as just little pockets of safety or even a connected tunnel through the mountain (I plan on using my Bodak Map and having it connect to the Roc Nest). In my lore I also had the Roc swallow the third gem from the winery (accounting for his massive growth) so if the players slay the beast, they can retrieve one of the winery gems.
