Let yourself listen, and notice how my words begin to settle into your mind like ripples on the surface of a still lake. Each word touches your awareness and then fades, only to return like an echo. It calls you and surrounds you. My words seem to stretch, and then repeat in your thoughts, as if you hear them once, and then again, softer and farther away.
And as the echoes repeat, your mind follows them without trying. You don’t need to chase them, they come to you. And as each sound moves, your awareness shifts with it. Your thoughts are stretching, and drift like an echo. They're getting harder to hold onto as they fade, and dissolve, and disappear.
