Amber Temple - Upper / Lower Floors - Grid / Gridless

Update July 9th, 2021: Found an issue with my map size for the lower level and realized I had a fraction of a grid on the left and the right. This caused issues with the map aligning to the grid properly in VTTs such as Roll20. I resized the lower level map slightly and did a test run in Roll20 and now it aligns great! So I have updated the lower level files in the attached zip. Enjoy!

Your party has finally climbed the pass and braved the perils along the way. Will they succumb to the evils that lie within the amber?

This map is in two sizes:

Upper Level: 48x54

Lower Level: 50x54

All files can be found in the attached file.

Cheers,

DM Andy

Hi Eric, sorry for the delay, I've been held up with the flu. I went ahead and updated my newer version of the Amber Temple to include a first level without bodies. I also removed the staff on the ground in the left hallway. You can find that link here for the champion tier: https://www.patreon.com/posts/81292533 The free version also is updated here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/81293092 Regarding the Vallaki stockyards though, I don't have any bodies on my original map though. Sorry if I've misunderstood something.

Hi @DM Andy, for maps which include a dead body which is a significant plot element (like this Amber Temple map and the Vallaki Stockyards) would it be possible to make duplicates which do not include the corpses? Thsi would be valuable in cases where we didn't want to run the murder investigation yet, or didn't want to tip off players to the murder until some event or investigation has occurred.

Ah yes! That's because the map in the CoS book is gridded to 10' per square instead of the normal 5' we are all used to. So when I gridded my map, I gridded it to 5' per square. This means the hallway is two squares wide instead of one, as shown in the book, but it's the same distance in both instances. This is just easier to use tokens on. Also, for grid/door alignment, I recommend using the Webp files and entering these values into Foundry (Ignore if you're already using the Webps). This way, everything should align perfectly. Upper Level 75 px per Square 3600W x 4050H Bottom Level 76 px per Square 3800W x 4104H

I’m having issues getting some of the door to line up to grids. The books shows the entrance hallway 1 grid wide but yours is 2.. or am I doing something wrong lol. Im using foundry
