>> Stare at this certain black spine VHS tape. The saler told back then someone died after 7 days just by watching that tape.
>> Sounds awesome. Must be a long-lost sequel to Morbius. Put play.
>> It's just a lot of random noise. A couple images shows like a woman brushing her hair and some burning trees. It must be one of those weird artistic movies.
>> Ominous black hole pops up for a few seconds. The television suddenly shut down by itself. Damn
>> Cellphone rings. Unknown number. You ignore. It must be one of those telemarketing calls again.
>> It keeps ringing. You block the number.
>> The screen pops-up again. A picture of a well shows up. Some random girl climbs out of it.
>> Damn, she's hot. She's getting closer.
>> She goes out of the screen, pouring water all over the carpet, messing all my eletronics and grabbing my neck.
>> She whispers in a ghostly voice: "Why did you block my number?"
>> I explain I thought she was from my ISP trying to scam me into a commercial deal or something.
>> She just stares back at me. Annoyed, baffled, I can't tell. She's a ghost.
>> "You have seven days!" she throws me back at my couch. "And unblock me, you dummy!"
>> She crawls back to the screen and to the well. The television turns off again.
>> "WTF. Did I just get a girlfriend?" (no)
That's my greentext for a romantic comedy between a guy from a VCR shop dating a psychic ghost who may or may not kill him in seven days. If it was a light novel, I would name either "My Videotape Ghost Girlfriend Can't be this Cute!" or "I watched a cursed videotape and now I'm haunted by a psychic ghost girl!".
That's a 100 million dollars franchise, I'm pretty sure.
