Krysta and Asterios

At the great northern dungeon, Krysta explores again the labyrinth, mapping it's hallways in search of a new route for adventurers looking for a quick path to the other side of the snow mountains of Cinerea.

It wasn't the kind of job adventurers of her rank would normally take, however, during the lack of raids and dangerous calamities to take down, it was hard for her to find a group to join and exploration commissions were the easiest ones to take as a solo adventurer.

The labyrinth inside the northern dungeon was massive. It said it was built by an ancient civilization of minotaurs, powerful monsters of mighty strenght that were casted by the alliance of the five races inside the mountain. The ingenuity of the minotaurs allowed them to create a labyrinth so intricate most people lost themselves for months inside it, surviving of the underground fauna bred in the darkness.

But that's just what the legends says. The northern dungeon was used sometimes for quick mining excavations in search of magic crystals for tools and jewelry. It was a very lucrative job, but most people don't throw themselves at the labyrinth without backup plans - besides, even if the minotaurs presence was scarce nowadays, they showed themselves from time to time, driving out entire parties of elite adventurers on their wake.

That's why the guilds started a project to map and create an underground road inside the dungeon. Krysta was one of the few who accepted the job, and she trusted herself to protect against the local fauna and other dangers the underground might show.

That's until she got lost during her first exploration. In panic, she roamed into random hallways, losing even more her sense of direction until she found by chance a minotaur: the architect Asterios.

Asterios was one of the minotaurs responsible to build the labyrinth. Even though their first encounter was marked with her insistense of rewarding him for showing her the way out, Asterios was hesitant to associate with people from the surface. He was too aware of the things humans would do to delve deeper into the labyrinth in search for treasure, often finding their own demise.

For this, he was puzzled when meeting Krysta again, in another commission to explore the labyrinth. Why they kept sending this girl without sense of direction to these kinds of missions was a mistery: but after each encounter, they got eager for the next more and more.

Krysta became the talks in the adventurer's guild: a solo adventurer exploring the dangerous labyrinth so often? And she always finds her way out? Perhaps she made a deal with a minotaur to get a map or something?

She never told her secret, however. She just smilled and said: "I guess I explored that place so often I feel I'm home".

This one took a little bit (a month and a half) to finish, so sorry to keep you waiting ;D

I gave the name of the Crete's Minotaur for him since it's a good name and summarizes exactly who he is: the minotaur (and an architect, to make him a little cooler).

They're cute together, so I have plans to draw them more in the future (not after I finish the current projects I'm doing, of course! XD)

Thanks for all the support! More stuff to come later this month!

Typo on panel 3! He says "did you fainted" but it should be "did you faint?" Ultra hot, they make a cute couple ❤️
