Teasing Ruth Again
Added 2019-12-20 11:26:25 +0000 UTCAnd let's make it a double feature!
This is another short, 1200 word tease I wrote for Ruth ( https://twitter.com/Fatdragonfiesta ) a couple of years ago not long after I met them.
Again, nothing super complicated. Just Ruth having an experimental enlarging device used on them by a certain red dragon. Not that they seem to mind, despite their protests.

Teasing Ruth Again
By Dragonien
“A-are you sure this is safe?” Ruth asked, shuffling nervously in place. He didn’t think anyone could feel totally at ease and relaxed when they were standing on a huge X painted on the floor in red paint.
‘Don’t worry don’t worry! It says right here the last eleven out of twelve tests were all total successes!” The red dragon behind the bank of computer screens said.
“What happened on the one that failed?!” Ruth exclaimed in renewed concern.
“The apple shrank too small for them to find” Came Dragonien’s reply, partially muffled by the sound of the machine revving up.
Before Ruth even had time to decide whether to be more alarmed that all those tests had been on fruit and not on live people or that the failed test had shrunk something out of existence, he felt the beam of crackling light green light engulf him. Oddly enough there was no physical presence to the beam. He had expected to feel some kind of resistance or mild force behind it but instead all he felt was the tingling effect it was sending crawling through every cell in his body.
Almost instantly he began to grow. Able to see the whole room seeming to press in closer to him while simultaneously lowering down as his perspective rose. The screens that had mostly blocked his view of Dragonien were low enough within seconds he could easily see over them to the grinning red dragon manning the controls. There was no stretching sensation or feeling of discomfort or pain like his body was forcibly rearranging or growing more of itself. There was nothing but the tingling sensation and the view of everything lowing signaling that his body was being scaled up like you might a 3D model in a rendering program.
Abruptly Ruth stumbled a half step as the now 20 foot and growing dragon had adjusted his stance only to misjudge the distance down to the floor. With his expanding width as well as height his stance had grown wider than the raised platform he was standing on, so his foot had an extra 3 or so inches to the ground than he expected. The difference in his weight immediately made itself known as the whole room vibrated from the unexpectedly hard footfall of a dragon whose weight certainly was several thousand pounds. The white dragon’s arm stretched out to brace itself against the wall, but again he misjudged his new size and his weight and the accompanying force caused his fingers to crater a good inch deep hand print into the solid concrete wall of the laboratory testing chamber. A flush of embarrassment flooded through the now 25-foot-tall dragon’s cheeks at the sight of the damage he had unintentionally caused, which was only compounded by the loud crashing sound of his nervously flicking tail knocking over a table behind him.
When he spun around to survey the damage he had caused he heard a yelp of surprise coming from Dragonien! Mid-spin his tail had swept around like a scythe, smashing through several of the monitoring screens and right into the side of the device that was currently bombarding him with unknown, growth inducing radiation. Instantly several warning lights flared on the surviving screens, and the light coloration of the beam still hitting Ruth darkened to an almost violently neon shade of green. Now Ruth could feel a sensation beyond the tingling. Though it was hard to explain, it was similar to how you feel your stomach bottoming out when you’re in a fast-moving elevator and your organs are trying to keep up with the rest of your body. The difference was this sensation seemed to be spread across his entire body, as if his body were struggling to keep up with its own growth. Growth that had radically sped up.
Within the first couple of seconds that the beam had changed colors Ruth’s head had smashed into the 50-foot ceiling of the testing chamber, sending sprays of concrete debris raining down all around him. Chunks of rock and rebar that normally would have been big enough to severely damage the white dragon instead bounced off of his clothes and hide with about as much effect as if someone had dumped a handful of pebbles on him. Crashing could be heard from below but by then his head had already torn into the office space above the testing room and he could no longer see down below. Office chairs and desks and water coolers were bulldozed out of the way by his expanding muzzle as it ballooned into the office space, soon followed by his shoulders, then pudgy upper body, and eventually his ponderous gut.
He could feel the reinforced concrete below crumbling under his toes as they clenched as if it were no more durable than sand clumped together from moisture. While there was still a note of panic in his thoughts from the suddenly out of control situation, he couldn’t suppress a shiver of unintentional delight at that thought of the power that his body was now capable of. Experimentally he tried lifting up one of his arms and he felt it smashing through a half dozen walls and floors as if they were nothing more than layers of dried mud. Concrete, steel reinforcement and wood all splintering apart by the casual effort he exerted until his arm had torn clean through the side of the skyscraper and into the open air outside. It wasn’t long before more of him joined it as his tail outgrew the back of the building while the girth of his bulbous hips finally outpaced the width of the building. It wasn’t more than a few seconds longer before the skyscraper of steel and glass had been replaced with one of flesh and bone instead, Ruth towering over the surrounding metropolis now fully as large as the skyscraper that now lay as debris in the streets around him.
It was only then that Ruth realized something. Nervously glancing around, he saw a small streak of red running down the street off in the distance. Even from several hundred feet up his keep predator’s eyesight was able to discern Dragonien at a dead run making his away from Ruth. Then he noticed something else. Glancing down by his feet he saw the pile of concrete that had once been a 5-story testing chamber as well as small bits of electronics and metal that had previously been a machine the size of a small house. The device that had been growing him, which was now a ruined heap of scrap metal. This meant the device was no longer operating, no longer showering him with the radiation that had started all of this. But as Ruth looked around at the diminutive buildings around him, he noticed something that sent another shiver through his body, one he couldn’t tell whether it was born of fear or of arousal…
He was still growing.
