A thank you and an update

Hey there everyone! We're at that point where the year is starting to wind down. Again I can't even begin to express how much I am truly thankful to all of you for supporting me throughout the year. There really are no words to express how much this meant to me and how much it has helped to motivate me and helped me make real progress as a writer this year. I'm not over exaggerating and saying that a fire hadn't been as much support from people like all of you this year as there had been I probably would have given up on writing by now.

So again thank you so much for your previous and continued support.

There is a small change I'm going to be making to patreon for the next year to try to better manage my time and energy. I'm really hoping to start working on some of my bigger projects next year and, at the risk of jinxing myself, maybe finally get started in one of the novels that I've been wanting to write for years. In doing so I need to make sure that I have enough time to do so as I'm still working on being able to be as consistent with my writing as I want to be and that means I will probably have to make a few Cuts somewhere until I can be as productive as I want on demand.

So starting next year in January I will be making a change to the value of dragon dollars for my $10 and $25 supporters. Starting in January Dragon dollars will only be worth 200 words instead of 250. It's not a big change but considering how many people have so many of them piled up it can make a big difference and how much I'm able to accomplish next year. Now all of you would already have some saved up please don't worry. This is not retroactive. So any of you that already have dragon dollars accumulated from this year those will all still be worth 250 words. This is only a change for future Dragon dollars that you accumulate. I'll probably come up with some silly differentiation like calling them Legacy Dragon dollars or something.

This is just trying to give myself a little bit of extra breathing room so that I can hopefully work on more and bigger projects in the limited amount of time and energy I have to write.
