Eclesiastic orders I. Huntresses of Euran.

With the advent of black magic into the world, the great nations of Corinto found it necessary to strengthen their religious institutions. In this way, the cults of the times of the First Age gained strength and were reinterpreted in the context of the great battle that was fought in the horrific times of the Pale Sun.

In the case of Florengard, numerous ecclesiastical orders were created, dedicated to understanding one of the many branches of black magic, with the sole purpose of eradicating it. One of these orders is named "The Huntresses of Euran" in honor of the goddess of hunting, cunning, and perseverance. In the time of Queen Hereldein, the goddess Euran was worshipped in gratitude for having taught the Binnenoun the gift of hunting, but from the time of old age onward, the Direwelfs appeared, poor wretches who carry the weight of a terrible curse that will consume them silently and in full view of all those around them, finally emerging when the light of the full moon dawns and unleashes the bloodthirsty beast within them to feast on those who were once their friends or family.

It is for this reason that Euran's virtues were reinterpreted in this new context. As the sacred texts of Havaldaen tell us, Euran created the art of hunting to find and kill the children of the Ausviga god Vaenhen, who in ancient times roamed the land, defiling it with their perfidy. Now, the Huntresses of Euran carry out a similar task, as they must hunt the Direwelf, who, like Vaenhen's children, hide until they see an opportunity to commit their misdeeds again.

Con el advenimiento de la magia negra al mundo, las grandes naciones de Corinto se vieron en la necesidad de fortalecer sus instituciones religiosas, de esta manera, los cultos de los tiempos de la primera edad cobraron fuerza y fueron resignificados en el contexto de la gran batalla que se libró en los horridos tiempos del Sol pálido.

En el caso de Florengard, se crearon numerosas ordenes eclesiásticas encausadas a entender una de las tantas ramas de la magia negra con el único propósito de erradicarla. Una de estas órdenes recibe el nombre de “Las cazadoras de Euran” en honor a la diosa de la cacería, la astucia y la perseverancia. En los tiempos de la reina Hereldein, se rendía culto a la diosa Euran en agradecimiento por haber enseñado el don de la cacería a las binnenoun, pero a partir de la tercera edad, aparecieron los Direwelfs, pobres infelices que llevan a cuestas el peso de una terrible maldición que les consumirá en silencio y a la vista de todos quienes les rodean, para finalmente aflorar cuando la luz de la luna llena aflore y libere a la bestia sedienta de sangre que guardaban en su interior para darse un festín con aquellos a los que antaño fuesen sus amigos o familiares.

Es por esta razón, que las virtudes de Euran fueron resignificadas en este nuevo contexto, pues como narran los textos sagrados del Havaldaen, Euran creo el arte de la cacería para encontrar y dar muerte a los hijos del dios Ausviga Vaenhen, que en tiempos remotos vagaban desbocados por la tierra, mancillándola con su perfidia. Ahora las cazadoras de Euran llevan a cabo una tarea similar, pues deben cazar a los Direwelf, que al igual que los hijos de Vaenhen se ocultan hasta que vean la oportunidad de volver a cometer sus fechorías.
