Races of corinto Binnenoun (Lore)

The Binnenoun are a people of ursine women who primarily inhabit the continent of Florengard. Although the world of Corinto is inhabited by numerous races, each with unique traits that set them apart, the Binnenoun are the only sentient race in which the women are physically larger and stronger than their male counterparts. It is thought that this peculiarity is due to the fact that the Binnenoun are descendants of a race of titans who saw their size reduced over the generations until they reached their current state, resulting not only in their particular matriarchal order, but also in the existence of giants and half-giants.

At first, the Imperial sages had concluded that if the women of the Binnenoun race were so great and powerful, their male counterparts must be even more terrible, but when the Emperor himself and his court were invited to Florengard by Queen Hereldein, they saw that theory refuted. They were again mistaken when they thought that the continent was inhabited only by women, but it was Hereldein's daughter, Aethelyn, who explained to the Imperials that the men of the Binnenoun race were almost indistinguishable from their female counterparts, possessing feminine qualities in their bodies. They were only distinguishable from women by their great delicacy and lack of usual robustness. When Princess Aethelyn was asked if such men, so alien to the natural order, were indistinguishable from women in every way, the princess simply smiled and said, “To us the differences are clear, but for you to know for sure, you would have to share a bed with one.”

Most of the Corinthian races are distinguished by the fact that their members can have different skin tones and a variety or lack of patterns on their skin, whether they are reptiles or mammals, but the Binnenoun race is characterized by the fact that all of its members have skin as white as snow itself. The only differences are in the color of their eyes and hair, although they may also have freckles or moles on their skin.

The peoples of Florengard were at war for a long time because of their deep-rooted beliefs, each town believed they were descended from a titan whom they saw as a supreme deity to whom they worshiped through the protection of their lineage. This changed when Hereldein undertook a crusade to unify Florengard, first by dominating his power in all the territories of the continent, and then by writing a text he called "Quelonfal", where he unified all the deities of Florengard in the same canon, placing the goddess Kayleth as the mother of the Florentine pantheon, it was in this way that he achieved free access for his citizens to territories where they would once be considered enemies, beginning an era in which trade and cultural enrichment of the continent grew considerably.

BINNENOUN

Las binnenoun son un pueblo de mujeres ursinas que habitan principalmente en el continente de Florengard. A pesar de que el mundo de Corinto es habitado por numerosas razas, cada una de ellas con rasgos únicos que las diferencian, las Binnenoun son la única raza pensante en la que las mujeres son físicamente mas grandes y fuertes que sus pares masculinos. Se piensa que esta particularidad se debe a que, las Binnenoun son descendientes de una raza de titanes que vieron su tamaño reducido con el paso de las generaciones hasta llegar a su estado actual, resultando no solo en su particular orden matriarcal, sino en que también existen las gigantes y semigigantes.

En un principio, los sabios imperiales habían concluido que, si las mujeres de la raza binnenoun eran tan grandes y poderosas, sus pares masculinos debían ser aun mas terribles, pero cuando el Emperador mismo y su corte fueron invitados a Florengard por la Reina Hereldein, vieron refutada esa teoría. Nuevamente cayeron en el error cuando pensaron que aquel continente estaba habitado únicamente por mujeres, pero fue la hija de Hereldein, Aethelyn quien explico a los imperiales, que los hombres de la raza binnenoun son casi indistinguibles de sus contrapartes femeninas, siendo que poseían en sus cuerpos dotes femeninas. Tan solo eran distinguibles de las mujeres, por su gran delicadeza y falta de robustes habitual. Cuando se le pregunto a la princesa Aethelyn si aquellos hombres tan ajenos al orden natural eran indistinguibles de las mujeres en todo sentido, la princesa tan solo sonrió y dijo “Para nosotras las diferencias son claras, pero para que vos lo sepáis con certeza, tendríais que compartir el lecho con alguno.”

La mayoría de las razas de Corinto se distinguen por que sus miembros pueden poseer distintos tonos de piel y variedad o nulidad de patrones en la misma, sean reptiles o mamíferos, pero la raza Binnenoun se caracteriza porque todas sus integrantes poseen una piel blanca como la nieve misma. Las únicas diferencias residen en el color de sus ojos y de sus cabellos, aunque también pueden poseer pecas o lunares en su piel.

Los pueblos de Florengard estuvieron en guerra durante mucho tiempo a causa del arraigo a sus creencias, cada pueblo creía descender de una titan a la que veían como una deidad suprema a la que ofrendaban culto mediante la protección de su estirpe. Esto cambio cuando Hereldein emprendió una cruzada para unificar Florengard, primero mediante el dominio de su poder en todos los territorios del continente, y después mediante la escritura de un texto al que llamo Quelonfal, donde unifico en un mismo canon a todas las deidades de Florengard, colocando a la diosa Kayleth como madre del panteón florentino, fue de esa manera que logro el libre acceso de sus ciudadanas en territorios donde otrora serian consideradas enemigas, dando inicio a una época en que el comercio y el enriquecimiento cultural del continente creció considerablemente.
