Voice Update!!!

Here's the promised update on my voice! Difference is May 2024 when I found out I had nodules versus today :> I never got around to recording an "after starting speech therapy" clip but it wasn't much different from May!

I also misspoke a couple of times in the one from today because I was so excited but here's what I meant to say:

• I got sick two days after my surgery, not two weeks

• "I can't use my voice yet" = I can't use my voice professionally yet!

Also, I'm not supposed to be speaking for too long, but I am allowed to speak in short intervals/conversations!

It's officially been 15 days since my surgery and I'm recovering well! I do get tired if I talk too much and my vocal range isn't fully back yet. I can't sing high notes, and the low/mature voice I use for some characters is gone at the moment. From what I know, my vocal folds are still not fully settled into their "final healed stage" yet and won't be for the next few weeks! When that happens, my range should be back. I'll be able to know more and tell you all more after my October 11th appointment~
