Yeah - volumes could be and presumably have been written about legal minors in the entertainment industry in general, and the ageism that results therefrom. As a business, all the incentives are to book nothing but 11-year-olds with contracts their guardians don't really understand. And so regulations and government oversight are hugely important. I don't know much about the business in China, but Korea is probably not the worst or, at least, better than Japan in regards to these issues.

Glad you got back to this. I really enjoy the Chinese produced survival shows. I feel like they are more uplifting to the trainees compared to the Korean ones, where it's like the show is a blacksmith, beating them into the image of what they want.
