Maybe I will give a try to the novel. I already read a bunch of the novels that got adapted into a show (GAP, 23.5, Pluto, Mate, reverse 4 you... ) and some that didn't get adapted yet but I'm sure it will get adapted soon enough haha Can't wait for Affair!

I'm really happy to have finished rewatching it with you, it stayed in my heart quite the same way - there's just something very touching about all the thought and care put in every aspect of it. Of course there's drama we all love and are here for, but it never feels exploitative and has so many incredibly tender and sweet moments, courtesy of Faye and Yoko amazing acting chemistry and really solid dialogue writing. Here's to many other great gls incoming! As a little side note: while rewatching, it really hit me that the core of their conflict at the end is once again just the difference in age and experience: Aneung is so young that 2-3 years to her feel like the end of the world, and for Neung, while devastating, it's a sacrifice she feels she can make because 2-3 years pass quite quickly. It seems like she only realizes the gravity of it to Aneung after the phone call.
