2024-10-16 02:02:26 +0000 UTCYeah, NiNE started appearing on Limelight's music credits on their Last Dance album BUT Kim Mingu, NiNE's head producer, was with them since the beginning. He is in the credits of Eye to Eye and Honestly and basically all the b-sides from Last Dance. He is not mentioned much because Limelight's title tracks and sound always get associated with Kim Seungsoo, the guy that composed Fiesta for IZONE since all their titles had him till TA-DA. Either way, although some people might not have liked the slight change in sound since it was not exactly like Limelight's, it is pretty clear that 143 has a set vision for their music since I do not think they strayed that far off. And I feel that we would have gotten to this point either way but we got here faster with the name change and new members. I love this mini and, MV shenanigans aside, it was a great debut. Also, extra random info, they had their first fan concert in Japan recently and they performed OT7 versions of Starlight and Madeleine and as expected Mashiro and Yeseo fitted the songs so well. I hope we will also get other Limelight songs as OT7 eventually.
