It's no coincidence you thought one of the members of QWER mightve been japanese....the group and music very directly is inspired by j-pop and j-rock. The project to create them was directly inspired by a japanese manga series. Fun fact for the first album that you'd appreciate....one of the songwriters/producers who was involved with the project was one of the main songwriters/producers for Dreamcatcher!
