Research on Anglo-Saxons for Documentary

With the upcoming Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia title coming out soon I decided to get educated on the time period. I am thinking of doing a documentary series on the campaigns of the Great Heathen Army. My main concern however would be that these more long form videos don't seem to get as much attention as Moments episodes (see Siege of Jerusalem). Is this something you all consider something worth pursuing at the cost of some delays to other Moments episodes?

Love both Moments and Long Form. Moments are easier to digest, but the Long Form are my favorite- so much detail!!

I also prefer the longer series videos. My personal preference would be to not even know about it until it was complete, and then watch all the episodes related to it in one setting. But I don’t know what technical or economic challenges you would face doing it that way. Both the short form and long form videos are great.

As much as I love the moments, I love the longer series videos more. They are more in-depth, which is awesome. The reason your siege of Jerusalem video didn't do so well is probably the long wait, most people would've forgotten about it. But if you record each part and have them ready to post, you can do it over 3 weeks and people will remember. With Thrones of Britannia coming out, I'm sure there will be a great amount of interest, so I wouldn't worry about that bit.
