In dwarven culture, communal bathing, washing, etc strengthens bonds and typically a way to get the latest gossip. Elders usually braid/tend to their wardβs hair, so Carmine ignoring Bevel mostly he takes personally π like why wonβt mom treat me nicely. They also tend to use bathtime as plotting time, or when bevel can roll Carmine in for a wash up cause sheβs married to the forge and dirty.
Obvi they love/hate each other and want each other to suceeed (or fail depending if itβs funny) so Carmine does try to help Bevel out with romantic advice (she has no experience and suffers romantically) and is a bit crass for Bevels sake. Bevel is a p traditional romantic knight type, Carmine isβ¦ herself.
Bevel eventually does meet a princess (or at least she is a princess to him) and I still have to design her. Carmine has someone whoβs been interested in her for a long time and sheβs oblivious.
