Update: One more month of waiting

As you can probably deduce, Kalal still hasn't replied to my messages. Since work on A Quirky Night cannot continue, I have paused billing for another month.
However, I have also come to the conclusion that I can't keep waiting forever. Our readers and supporters don't deserve to be kept in this limbo where there are no news on the future of A Quirky Night. Therefore, I have taken a decision.
I have made my last attempt at contacting Kalal, writing messages to every platform I know he uses. I have given him an ultimatum, to either reply or be cut out of the project entirely. While I really do hope he's ok and can come back, I also have to be pragmatic and make plans in case he really is gone for good.
If he replies, I will let you all know as soon as possible. If he doesn't, then by next month I will start thinking about what to do with A Quirky Night moving forward, on the assumption that our favourite illustrator will no longer be a part of it.
I would be really sad to continue without him, but I also feel it would be unfair to all of you to keep waiting for him forever. You have continued to pay and support this project, and you at the very least deserve a more decisive course of action than this.
That is all. Sorry for the bad news, I will keep my fingers crossed in the hopes that Kalal replies.
