Friend Group

Trying to design Edwin’s ‘friend’ group. I can’t decide how close they are since Edwin def is a loner, or at least struggles to have friends. These are the gamer bros from highschool and so on… they range from being genuinely nice but maybe a bit awkward to being pretty incel cultured. Originally Edwin ignores it cause he’s an angry dude too, but eventually he kinda gets sick of the toxic ‘forever alone, girls only like alphas’ stuff and tells them off about it. Edwin’s sorta the unofficial leader since he’s the most combative and not as socially shy (blunt, no problem standing up for himself, no problem planning things) so when he gets a gf it kinda throws the group into turmoil since the angry guy now is bf.

They are equally varied in their styles and tastes/development, and all have to go through some change which is good! They aren’t meant to be the best guys, but choose to change for the better while keeping their true selves intact. Edwin def wasn’t the best person (nor was portia) until they unlearned some toxic behavior.

Please leave any ideas for them below! I wanna work on nerdy guy archetypes, and different a variances of that.

Hint: they will be used for 🔥 content too, so like… vanilla gamer boy that had to gain confidence to talk to girls but was v sweet, vs their angriest most toxic friend who becomes a house maid/house husband and is healed by LOVE I TELL U.

This also goes both ways, Portia’s friends go through their own development to become less toxic and more kind so it’s sorta like… everyone is learning TOGETHER
