Their situationship begins when Portia doesn’t feel like finding new ‘donors’ and Edwin is approaching the full moon, so Portia pitches an arrangement that will help them both after they accidentally share a moment of passion. Portia explains that he’s her preferred blood type, AND he knows she hates blood so she will just make him clean her up and himself up so she doesn’t have to look at it (plus he didn’t react negatively when she bit him because it’s his fantasy) and she will help him face the horny horrors that come with the full moon, aka werewolves usually have a ‘moon mate’ which is someone to keep them entertained… Edwin’s never had one so it’s usually a miserable, depressing process in isolation. Portia gets a meal and a chance to dominate her crush, Edwin gets to be dominated by his crush.
I haven’t figured out just how wolfie he gets, like full wolf? Or just hair wolf man? Regardless, he’s not particularly violent or difficult to control as Portia was anticipated, he just has a voracious appetite… so she quickly finds out he’s more of a were-rabbit than a werewolf since he’s trying to get a bite of her probably almost every day leading up to and then after the full moon for a week compared to 1 night of fun. She is really putting that work on! Cause she can only take so much from him… but she’s also having a great time :)
