Kitten Whiskers

Dahlia and Seamus begin dating right as Portia and Edwin begin their 'arrangement', so its pretty easy to cover up. When the only people you hang out with suddenly become a couple, you gotta pass the time somehow! though dahlia and seamus end up noticing it. They've had a LONG time to process their infatuation for each other, and have a very natural course to their relationship... obviously they spent a lot of time together to begin with. Seamus and Dahlia are also weirdos (just like edwin and portia) so being around them as a couple... Dahlia refers to herself as daddy so portia and edwin nope out of that whole situation.

Originally they were busy in their 'new relationship' period, so Portia and Edwin really had nothing else to do but spend time together since their besties were busy... only to realize they have a lot in common! very very quickly their 'situation' becomes way more than an 'exchange'. Originally it was just physicialy, friends with benefits, but it almost IMMEDIATELY becomes grey. They used to only spend time together in the context of their friend group/when they had to. Suddenly Portia is coming over for movie night, but they actually watch the movie. They stay up talking all night, nothing happens other than gabbing. They're texting CONSTANTLY. Her weekly visit becomes every night. They go out together, secretly. It works because they have weird work schedules and their friends are so busy! only their friends aren't actually busy... theyre just so infatuated with each other they start losing their grip on their other friendships since they are now in their 'new relationship phase'

Seamus and Dahlia are originally slighted, Portia and Edwin mean well since they honestly don't wanna third wheel and want their couple friends to be happy! only their couple friend wants to see their besties! Dahlia VERY quickly put together that edwin is seein her bestie. She probably knows before Seamus gets peeved his bff keeps flaking. Dahlia has a sharp nose, and she works with edwin, so she gets in his car only to smell her bestie! she says nothing, but keeps it close to the chest. She's very trusting and not toxic, so she's the 'my bestie will tell me when she's ready... but maybe I can speed up the process a lil cause this is KILLING ME!' 

Dahlia enlightens her bf, and is thrilled to know her ministrations WORKED, she was the mastermind behind this.... but now she needs them to be official so they can go on double dates! ugh!
