Wedding Day

Canonically Portia and Edwin have a kid (or two) before they publically tie the knot, but they technically are married. Portia and Edwin find out they’re expecting and decide to keep it since ‘when is a good time?’. Edwin had saved and bought the fixer upper Portia wanted as a soft proposal, with the plan of doing the ring thing at a later time and letting her have it be exactly how she’d want, but oopsie. They now have a house to fix up, a business to fix up, and a kid to have. They decide to put a pin in it until things settle a little. After an appointment or two, Edwin cannot take being ‘the boyfriend’ anymore, and says he wants to be married, because 1. He wants to be 2. Finances 3. No way he’s gonna be Portia’s baby daddy and 4. Because he wants to. Portia says she doesn’t want to be pregnant and do the wedding they were talking about, plus they have to consider their finances with everything. Edwin says he’ll do anything she wants to make it happen, so she suggests they just go down to city hall and sign the papers. They do just that, secretly tying the knot. Haven’t decided if they tell anyone and have like a few people in attendance aka family/friends or if it’s a complete secret.

Few years later, Edwin knows how much she’d wanted a big wedding, asks her if she’d still want to. She of course is like ‘oh but it’s so late and I don’t know and I’m not sure!’ And he gifts her a real ring, which obvi she considers, and decides yes. They a small wedding at their cider mill, friends and family and kiddies in attendance. Their friends help pitch in, and it is so lovely other guests in attendance want to have their wedding there! Portia is thrilled to be a trend setter and work on weddings, so it becomes a venue :). The kids get sent home with the grand parents, so the wedding party can continue. I think they have a tattoo artist friend who does tats, there’s some mild stripping, and lots of smoking, drinking, and having fun.

Not sure if they go on a honeymoon, or if they did, where they would go? But kid #3 shows up 9 months later
