Edwin started a successful gardening/landscaping company as a teenager and now is living well and has his van that has all his equipment. Portia struggles a lot to gain her footing and is trying to start her business/works as a bartender (probably also sells pics etc to help)

Edwin is bullied into driving Portia to a wedding for a mutual friend, she is bored and decides to have some fun

Or discord mod edwin has been talking to his discord kitten for some time now and finally theyre gonna talk on video only for it to be his arch enemy Portia, both are distraught, both are annoyed, both make the best of it

Def thinking they were prob in a situationship of some kind/enemies with benefits until they argued and screamed that they were going to go on a date to prove they would be AWFUL, and then they just keep going on dates to prove it and suddenly theyre married (either impulsively or not... or maybe get married after their first kid cause maybe this will work out)
