Wedding Vs After Party
Added 2024-05-02 00:32:36 +0000 UTCI like to imagine that they secretly eloped while adventuring because 'family wants to make a big deal but I just want to be married to you!' so they secretly tie the knot and then a year later, they have a HUGE wedding that the parents wanted, because obvi dragonborn's in high society wanna put on a display, and by then The Queen's Conclave have quite a name for themselves. It's very fancy and big and probably attracts large crowds/public event, which the couple is fine with since they already did what they wanted, plus its basically an excuse to have a giant party on mom and dad's dime.
The ceremony is wonderful, the reception is great, but things get more out of hand (in the best of ways) until it's quite literally a free for all rager. On day 2 of partying, the wizards team up to teleport 'bride and grooms close friends and family' to the beach for the party to continue. Everyone wakes up on day 4 of the wedding, very tired, very hung over, but very happy. The newly weds decide to stay at the beach, while everyone attempts to clean up an intercontinental rager.
