Added 2024-03-05 18:22:43 +0000 UTCOscar and Bronagh were some of the first oc’s I made, this art is from about 2018-2019, I originally made a dulluhan (headless horseman) type ghost to be in a tv pitch that was about 3 different types of ghosts living in a house where they all perished, and it was like a sitcom but since expanded on that for a tragic gothic romance between a vampire exorcist/monster hunterwho falls for the haunted coachman.
They become a monster hunting duo and after a long enemies to lovers arc, he gives up his immortality to be with her and grow old with her only for her to be tragically murdered defending her home. The home she finally had after years of searching. He was confined and thought dead, blamed for her death. He is able to return centuries later after being freed to find out his wife is dead, and his home is invested with a demon that’s driven everyone out. Trying to preserve his home aka the last remnants of his wife, he returns to defend his house that’s in shambles. He quickly finds out it’s his wife who rises each night to defend the property as a cursed dullahan who loves to drink beer and his new mission is to find her head so she can remember and move on…. Good news though, she decides she’s not done living and once fully restored, she is ‘revived’ and now exists as sort of a hell rider, appearing human but must collect the dead so sorta a dulluhan, her head still pops off from time to time. The couple is together again, and they remain there as the local weirdo couple who throw giant parties for supernatural and ‘natural’ folk alike
