Cressida was a 'do no harm', never hurt a fly, goody goody while Bertram was a bounty hunter/arms smith that was a criminal... They did not get along originally, but eventually made it work... and fell in love, he changed his surname and left his life of crime behind so he could be with Cressida
She is a life cleric with some light cleric elements, he is a gunslinger fighter
