Meeting the Parents

Redid an old comic of Birdie meeting the Obiamons. Raff had to go home for a family event and his party decided to go with him to party in the dragon city. Raff offered to show Birdie around since she’s never been, to which obviously they did the touristy/not so touristy stuff and she wanted to see his family home… after some pleading he agreed under the promise that they would look, and leave, not talk to his parents (he knew they’d dislike Birdie just by her being in the adventuring party). Unfortunately they were caught by his dad coming home from work, and asked to come inside, where mom and dad met Raff’s friend/party member and disliked her immediately, but after some talking and seeing her character, they realized she’s a p good guy…. And also comes from an influential family, and isn’t a dumb jock like the rest of Raff’s friends.

Raff’s mom is sorta the Kris Jenner, the Obiamon’s are a high influential family so she needs to ensure her kids are highly successful and marry other high successful people… Raff’s engagement ended and he was dismissed, going to work in the middle of nowhere as a guard compared to his siblings who were lawyers, scholars, etc. Now his parents see he’s happy for the first time in a long time, and doing good work, and is successful… and now has a ‘friend’ who would be an excellent addition to the family…. They don’t have a healer in the family yet :)
