Been thinking about this a lot AS YOU KNOW, just because I think it's cute, and I think it would be very funny. Dragonborns lay eggs, so originally the two of them are like "guess we will wait and see what happens?" In my mind, in my fantasy world mind palace, whoever is the birther, that's just how it would work, such as if there was a human x dragonborn with the dragonborn being the one to have the kid, they would lay an egg. Or whatever means fantasy species have to create spawn.

Raff reads intentionally for the first time ever, typically Birdie usually reads her book aloud and he usually falls asleep by accident cause he so comfyyyy. But now he goes out of his way to read so he can know exactly what's going on. He's creating the plan, he's researching food, supplements, he cries on his hands and knees when he can't figure out how to put together a crib to which Birdie yells at him to let her help and does it in 5 seconds. He's a bit overbearing but obviously means well. He's also very excited and overly emotional.
