The two of them had kinda lowkey come to terms with the fact that they were probably not going to have kids UNTIL.... Raff knew he could do it, he was doing more research than ever before, cooking specific meals, keeping Birdie on a regiment, and it worked, but he's very dutiful/'this has to be done this way RIGHT NOW' so it could be a little annoying how strict he can be, he was in the army after all
I think all of their kids have some sort of crazy involved, like 1 is born on the side of the road because Birdie was too lazy to leave the house because 'it's totally fine', another was prob a straight up accident oopsie.
