Super Pixie (separate)
Added 2022-07-21 21:51:21 +0000 UTCI feel like Pixie sometimes when I'm reading a book. Like "yeah, we get it author/writer; you know lots of words." But it kinda defeats the whole point of comunication if you have to reference a dictionary every sentence just to understand what someone is saying gosh darnit!!!

2022-07-21 23:21:06 +0000 UTCMy son has an excellent vocabulary because we always spoke with him as an adult...understanding of course that we would have to define/explain things frequently. I think the trick is to react to the questions in a way that makes it clear they are expected, normal, and welcome, and to moderate how frequently definitions and clarification are needed.
