Sunday Digest ~ Vol XXVII ~ Qwest Edition

The Final Qwest has begun! I plan to only do Quest Sprout episodes between now and March 5th/Episode 900; rounding off the first 7 years of Swords. It's time for Quest Sprout's inclusion in the Demon Sword storyline to end, but it's not the end of the series! There's still so much more to do!

Product Updates

• The Momma Sprout Jumbo Plushie (102% complete) and Level 2 Quest Sprout Plushie (146% complete) launched this week! Now it's time to reach our side-qwest goal of 200% funded each!

• Quest Sprout physical comics are ordered and on the way

• I am planning to rearrange the comics on swordscomic.com into a pseudo-chronological order by clumping together the story parts in each Season and hiding their roman numerals. I am also going to do a polish pass on every episode from Season 4 onwards, making sure that any confusing text or jokes that constantly trip people up are tweaked a bit for clarity. If you are concerned about archival posterity, the old versions will still be in the True Fan Mega Bundle. I am warning you of this ahead of time.

• Stars daily updates will take a break for a few days this week while I am away.

Cut the Deck Updates

• Stock is still on a boat somewhere! Any day now!! It could be tomorrow or three more weeks away, I truly have no idea.

Life Updates

• I'm heading up to Auckland this week for my brothers wedding - is there anything I should see or do on Queen Street? I'll take cards with me if they arrive tomorrow!

• Watching Dr Stone as it airs and started watching Ishura season 2. I also watched the original Conan the Barbarian - why didn't anybody tell me Uncle Iroh was in it?

Social Updates

• This months top performing Reddit post was a repost of The Sword Of Up on /r/dndmemes. They delete any posts where I mention my Patreon in the comments, which I think is a bit unfair when I'm clearly creating value there.

Webcomic Tips

• This weeks tip is... no matter what you announce, people will ask for something else!! Learn the difference between changing what you already have, and graciously taking that feedback on board for the next thing you make. You can listen to people without starting from scratch or letting them make you feel bad about the work you've already finished. Finished work is always an accomplishment!
