Hi gang,
I want to go into 2025 a bit more organized than usual, so I've put together a bit of a content plan. I want you to have a better idea of what to expect, but this is also an opportunity for you to add some feedback about what you value the most so I can incorporate it.
Primarily my focus will be regular releases of:
- The Book of Kargob (lore pages about various creatures)
- Stars episodes
- West Sprout episodes
- Swords: Cut the Deck playable modules
- Wallpapers and stuff
It's a lot easier to do this kind of stuff regularly if there's some sort of system instead of relying on my classic New Zealand "she'll be right" attitude.
I've given myself some grace for birthdays and weddings and such (I know some of you will appreciate me looking after myself better), but if I'm organized there might be something in those spots too. I haven't committed to any conventions in 2025 yet, but the card game will be out by then, so I may end up travelling all over the place? In which cases I'll move some things around.
If enough people support the idea, I'm also willing to change Sticker Club from 4 drops a year to 3 drops a year, and put that extra $4 nzd postage per person towards more rewards in each drop instead - but if you're happy with the way it is now, great!
Sticker Club will keep growing as we hit milestones either way, when I can afford to do bulk orders to reduce costs involved.
If enough people go crazy and throw some money my way I'll add a Japan trip in there somewhere too, haha. I'm still looking for a big project to be a part of if you wanna email me.
There's a fairly high chance I'll be doing a Kickstarter for something after the card game ships, but frankly I haven't decided if it should be remastering Years One and Two of Swords into chronological order with nice higher res art; an expansion for Cut the Deck; an animated pilot; a little solo-dev Quest Sprout game in RPG Maker or something entirely different. I feel like I spread myself quite thin already, so I want to be confident that whatever the next move is, it's one that the community is passionate about.
Looking forward to your feedback! Thanks heaps!
Arwen A.
