Viewing Issues/ Patreon app sucks/ computer browser works best

Both ways seem to work ok, but the individual seems to be easier to read

It WAS working for me until some idiot who updated the code broke the app. Clearing the app data and cache doesn't work either.

So far, separate panels works best for me. In or out of the app

You don’t even need to see it from your computer. Just make sure to access Patreon on their website instead. I don’t like their app and haven’t used it at all. I have always been viewing your comics from my mobile browser and it works great!

Did I prefer the panels, yes, but when you do the big one I just open and zoom. It usually messes up on the first open but then once I open it a second time I can zoom to screen size and scroll down without issue. Speaking for app

My app has been giving me trouble every way you post comics. I’ve contacted support and they seemed helpful the first time and said they were working on it and the next time I messaged I was told something along the lines of “things may not always get attention or fixed”

Most of the time, I just read them straight from my email, as they show up there. But so far havent had issues with my app to view.

Most of the time when I try to use the app to view comics, it will freeze up and then the app will just quit and exit me out.

It’s not just the app sometimes the website sucks too. Like I tried viewing your comic twice and while I can see it in my email, I also wanna like it but the link wouldn’t take me to it. Some sites just need a lot of work!

I always use browser and never have any issues. Don't even have app installed personally.

I just look at it in the email it send me on my phone! Because if you do the comic as one image then it shows me the whole thing.

I got like 5 emails about the comic, but I never use the app, I use the internet browser on my phone

I never use the app. I always watch the comics in the mails I get to notify me about a post. Much better to look at the strips.

Well I got like 5 emails about the same comic, so I suppose all the methods alerted me as to the posting.

When on my phone (an S7), I find that the mobile website or just in the Gmail app works best. I have not had any issues with the single-image comics so far.

Thanks for working so hard to try and make sure everyone is taken care of! I can always view the strips super well in my email, which is where I normally look at them because I get the email that you’ve posted :) thanks for everything!

I just use my web browser on my phone rather than using the app.

With my new phone, I'm not having ANY problems seeing the comics, but with my old phone an tablet (cheap and old) I'm have problems seeing them all.

My only issue with the phone app is that when I zoom in to read the text it becomes difficult to read. Separate panels are easier to read then long strips.

I have several people I support on Patreon. One, recently went to a paid blog ($3/mo gets you all the content, past and current, on her blog) and it's been so totally worth it. Have you considered something like that?

Luckily you have made it easy with separate panels as I don't have a computer I use LOL. I know that's odd but I use my phone for everything I need.

Hi there! I use the phone app the most. I can tell you the long strips get hard to read through the phone. The best ones so far for the phone for me have been the separate panels. It comes in clear and I can read everything

I use the app, but haven't had any issues viewing your comics! I had a problem trying to download a wallpaper a while back, but that was all.

I wasn't having problems with the app until now. All the strips we're fine and then I tried viewing the past one after and it just didn't work. I can see them but it's unreadable even if you zoom in.

Got the app, and also multiple notifications for every strip panel posted 😅 But the long post was broken on app so, still like the panels. Most of the time I use the mail and there the long version works best.

The separate photos work great on the app, when you post a strip it crashes for me when I try to view it. But I can view the strips perfectly on my email

I usually see them on the email on my (old) hotmail account using my android (Sony if that's relevant) phone. And I have no issues with it. I never use the app (I had no idea there was one)

Yeah I know it does. I have to view your comics via email because the app has crashed my entire phone a couple times. Email version works fine tho.

I used to see on my e-mail. And it's good. But the app really sucks.

I just view on my email, tbh. You could always just make a dropbox and include it in the post for those unable to see it. A lot of artists I follow on here seem to do that.

I use email/mobile browser, and for the most part it works. Sometimes the formatting is weird but I can still shrink or zoom the panel to view. For those struggling with the app, I'd suggest mobile browser. Thanks for trying your best to make it viewable for all users.

An idea would be to create a locked wordpress and people just come here to get the link and password. Then you don't have to worry about the crappy app :).

Yea my iphone cant view them but my samsung phone can.

I use ios app just for notifications but browse your comics through phone browser.

Don't stress we love them no matter what!!!

They make the images optimized for different devices. Any image this tall is going to be downsized on mobile. I think the recommended dimensions are 1500x900.

This! I have NEVER had issues just viewing things directly in my email. I honestly never deal with the Patreon app/website unless there is a poll (or I come to comment like this!)

I find it best to just view on my email. Much easier. Btw...Hugo is my favorite!

I view in my email. Smooth and clear. But I also come back to Patreon web browsers to reread my favorites.

Both posts viewed just fine when I opened them in the gmail app on my Android phone.

I think it has to do with the size of the images. If I have issues I just view them in my email with no problem. Please don’t stress yourself out! Stay healthy!

Never had a problem before, but after the last post all the posts are useless 🤷‍♂️ luckily the app isn't the only way to view these amazing comics 😄

The best way for me to see it is using the email. It shows up pretty well there, even on mobile.

I just view the comics in the email notification I get. It works out much better than the app.

You know how I view them? From the email I get that says you posted something. It works great like that!!!

I just noticed you had a few comics I hadn't seen. Your account is the only one I have issues with, oddly enough
