For those who have been conditioned to hate it, you need to listen to the words and try several different sub-genres in Country music. You might be surprised that there are many you already love and didn't know they were country artists. Alan Jacksons, "Where were you when the world stopped turning," is played every year on the anniversary of 9-11. Most women swoon to the song "Like a Wrecking Ball," by Eric Church. And then the most recent song that sends women into a romantic tizzy is also country by Chris Stapleton. Look it up, "Tennessee Whiskey." My creative spirit is lifted by all these songs.
