Illness transformed me in a way I never wanted, and I could never really accept it. This photoshoot represents the desire to stay "pretty" even in times where I could barely recognize myself, and especially in times where how I looked was not the "conventional" way of prettiness.
I still look back with a tear in my eye thinking about all the pain that I had to endure, but today I stand strong and nothing is stopping me anymore.
Never let go.
