The state of Patreon and DID or Bondage pics!

Hey all,

This is a post I've been announcing and teasing for a few months now. The main reason I've been delaying it so long was not only to work out some proper wording, see what other artists do in this situation, but also have it as sort of a lead into 2020 ^^

So as many of you might have noticed, whether it's here or on DA, some DID or bondage artists had their Patreons removed/deleted/banned due to the content. There are still plenty around, including me, although I specialize purely on lighter DID I could become a target, therefore I wanted let you know what's going on, what I will be doing to prevent it and the worst possible scenario actions I might take:

1. Why are the artists being banned?

Long story short, while adult and DID oriented content is still around, apparently what triggered the wave of bans were two words: "consent" and possibly the biggest "slavery". Pretty much from what I've heard, art depicting characters being captured/losing their freedom forever or being sold was shot down, even links to stashes and whatnot. I'm guessing heavy or hardcore bondage themes might be next.

2. Is this page in danger?

You know me and my art, I never do slavery themes whether it's DA or here and while you can't have a DID scenario without the damsel being tied up without her consent, I try to always imply that she will escape and the capture is temporary. I also make sure to note she will never get hurt. These two disclaimers I have included in my welcome message as I've had them present on DA ever since I made the page. Hopefully this will be enough to stay out of the crosshairs.

3. What will change in 2020?

Not much honestly in terms of content. I will continue making my light DID themes, just going to try to always highlight as much as I can, both in text, descriptions and the welcome message, that they are no different than DID scenes in cartoons. I've been doing lots of romance recently and there's consent there always, so might also delve into that more often too ^^' And as for requests, nothing changes either although depending on the "spicyness" of the pic, I might not be able to post it anywhere, so the same too I guess ^^

4. Worst case scenario...

If this doesn't help and Patreon comes down on all fetish pages, no matter how consensual/romantic/vanilla they are, depending if there still will be enough wanting to support my work and learning, I might move to SubscriberStar like many artists did or just stick to individual commissions, although not sure about the format as I don't like using Paypal, specially since I don't have my own and use someone else's.
