Our last Mermay day

I have been silent this entire time because I couldn’t begin to explain how crazy our life got. We spent the first week moving out things to an abandoned house where we had to live for two weeks. No cell service or internet unless I drove 30 minutes to do my groceries. Two weeks of madness waiting until we could finally moving into our new real home. And the day we signed our lease, the biggest storm we have seen in a long time completely wrecks the power lines and we are left without water or electricity for days.
We have no spent a week, just moved into our new place. Still without proper internet, but it’s a home with everything that we need to be happy. (Don’t worry we’ll have internet next week, if everything goes well.) It took me a moment to feel safe again and to start creating, but I’m so happy of how things are turning out. Though the stress of this month has aged me a few years, it feels so good to be finally home.
I thought that maybe I could redeem myself for this month with a little mermaid shoot now that the power is back and I managed to get some decent lighting.
This year has been pure insanity, but I know that only good things are to come. And you are not ready to see who I’ll be spending the next two weeks of June with 👀
