Life update: Long and important letter to you

Hey everyone! This message might be a bit long but I just want to keep in touch with you all, it's been a bit rough for me since April and I'm having difficulties hanging out here. As I mentioned a lot since April, Im... "Moving in soon". Surely I never expected the renovations to take more than 2 months and my situation isn't so great BUT! I'm actually moving in soon for real. Renovations are coming to an end and by the end of next week, finitions should be done. Which means I'm going to have a really short time span to work on November sets, they might be, or not, a bit late. In the meantime, a lot of things happened. I didn't talk much about it and I really wanted to mention it now. I'll try to do it in the right order. Since July, Patreon fucked up a lot and it's never really ending; I've seen our family here growing smaller everyday since then. It really put stress on me due to having my income cut in nearly half ober 3 months, but even it not being so much about money, I'm stressed by the instability it creates in my life. Especially in times where I need funds to renovate my mom's house. Then end of August came and I was in a huge burnout, I didn't talk about it either because I didn't want to be whining around. I nearly didn't work for whole September, played League, slept almost all day sometimes. It wasn't great. September was tough, but not on a work aspect. I had to run after a lot of people and ensure that stagnation state that's over me since months. The more it goes, the less patient I am, and I'm not enduring this situation very well; I'm living in a constant mess, no furnitures but a crowded desk to work on, boxes and plastic bags containing my belongings everywhere, I never know where is what. I also go scammed by some of the workers during the renovations. Extra hours billed, some sloppy work, an entry door that's not in the right direction, billed 4 times its value... Not a great thing to keep on going. Now we're in October and I'm taking some advance on the shoots to be able to take some holidays. I didn't take holidays since May 2017. Since I started all this adventure with you guys. And as much as I'm grateful, everyday, to be able to live form cosplay and Ero cosplay, I'm also very tired by the work cadence that's upon me due to the monthly aspect of Patreon. I decided to reduce and change some of my rewards as well. I want to make previous sets more accessible, and be able to improve the quality of my HD sets. I'll do a detailed post about it; as you might have noticed, there is a real lot of content every month, but I cannot keep up with that amount of work. I want to give you guys the best of me, and I believe I need to give some time into revamping the tiers a bit to improve them AND make my life easier and light. For now, I'll be shooting a maximum during the 15-20th at a villa with YuzuPyon and Virtual Geisha, as they're my closest friends and coworkers, I'm sure we'll have fun and do great shoots! I'll try to move in right after and it might take a few days to sort up my things, build furnitures, settle in for real after all this waiting time. So I might send rewards a tiny bit later in November. Thank you everyone for being here everyday for me, you all matter a lot to me, whether you're here just to support or just to get the sets; I know that in the end, you all care about me and that comfort me as much as it makes me happy. Thank you so much ~ Miko โค๏ธ

Mikomi Hokina

Very soon (:

Mikomi Hokina

I belive the cat pics, BTS and food are pics I already take, it's really not what's hammering me with work :/ This is just abit of my life, and it's easy for me to show, so I think this will always stay in extra. I will detail soon the changes I want to do for 2019, I believe everyone will still be happy with it, it's just goiong to be a bit different

Mikomi Hokina

This sounds like a harsh year for you, and I wouldn't wish that to anyone else. I'm glad I'll be moving before winter at least, and the weather right now is still pretty light and kind! But I honestly cannot wait any longer, I'm exhausted by this situation :(

Mikomi Hokina

This is sadly really tricky for me as I live in a really remote place, there isn't many workers around :/ Fortunately, the current one seems pretty fair, report hours everyday after finishing, and seems like the work is done properly! I wish you the best in the future, lucky are those who will hire you and place their trust and hopes into you to realise their dream

Mikomi Hokina

Honestly, having people around is what's keeping me going. If not for all of you, I don't know if I could ever make it I feel obligated towards you but honored to have so many people supporting me! I don't think I could really do any other kind of job, so I'm happy I could at least reach this

Mikomi Hokina

I will! I just don't want to let people down, so I'll find solution to satisfy everyone, myself included ^-^

Mikomi Hokina

Thank you, these kind words are what's keeping me going (:

Mikomi Hokina

Thank you (:

Mikomi Hokina

I will do!

Mikomi Hokina

I will make sure to take some advance to release rewards even when in holidays, but I definitely need those holidays! It's tough to take a break from that kind of job, I just wish I knew how it would be before I started it, and took the time to think and evaluate if I was able to do it. Turns out I am, but it's hard :/ I'll do big changes in january and i hope people will still be happy with it, I want to do my best to improve but llighten my charge or work (:

Mikomi Hokina

Oh that is horrible :/ I am glad the rennovating is almost done for you, hopefully you will be able to hang in there for a little longer until then :3

We all have tough times so hang in there! Don't forget to prioritize yourself over everything. Stress can be a real killer and along with your unfortunate situations makes it a deadly combo. Take all the time you need to settle your issues. I can only speak for myself but I'm sure many of us are supportive, good-willed, and patient people; for the amazing things you do for us it's the least we can do for you. Rest! After all, both your physical and mental health is important to maintain. I'm sure everyone will understand. Stand strong! We got your back :)

Celsiius

Hang in there Miko! I haven't been active here in a while :/ cus ive been super busy with work and real life x.x but I always see yours and Yuzu's posts on Twitter / Insta and you guys keep getting better and better :] I can't believe is been over a year since I joined you guys patreon ๐Ÿ˜ญ I hope you can continue to do what you love and make a living while doing it. I'll support ya for as long as I can! 1 year down :3

I understand, if you must rest, you must to rest. You always work so hard and I apreciate that. But is not all is work some times we need a free time

Dan (Hema)

I think it is absolutaly worth to pledge for like 20-30 high quality pics instead of over hundred including food or cat pics that tbh people look only one time at. They are a nice plus but you could save time (and make the Downloads smaller) without this. ^^ I follow other cosplayers who get pledged for much less content and and people are still fine with it. Long story short, I think when you choose your high quality content carefully your Pateons will be happy with a smaller number of pictures and you will have more time to get your house and life together :) take your time. All the best!

Hi, I've been through what you are enduring. About eight years ago I renovated my parents' house over a period of ten months. Fortunately I had no trouble from the tradesmen, except one team of decorators, but that was resolved quickly. However, every job seemed to take longer than expected to finish. As summer became autumn and then winter things dragged. And the temperature dropped. It got so cold that paint would not dry. We had to borrow any type of heater we could and have them running just to dry the walls. Eventually we got there and moved in two days before Christmas. Just. So know that we are with you. Take care of yourself and don't force yourself to put out so much content if you suffer because of it. Good luck with the final move.

It's because of builders like the ones you mentioned why I decided to train my self in that field of work. First I was a brick layer, now I work as/train as a joiner and next year I plan on training as a plumber or electrician. But hay you could be as unlucky as I was when I was a Lil kid, as the builders the local council sent to my house ended up damaging a support beam and half the house fell down. It left us homeless for nearly 2 months It why I think they should work at piece work rates and be liable to fix anything they did wrong for no extra cost

Thank you for talking to us about it, I'm really sorry your going through this... it's times like these I wish I could do more money wise... But I guess that's what getting more people can help. Idk if I can even help through emotional support but your amazing at what you do! Even with all the creepy things people do you still keep going and providing something that is just beautiful everyday. Your amazing miko! I hope things work out for you, please know that we appreciate everything you do for us. From props, to collabs, to lewds, everything you do means so much. I hope in my heart that your able to make it through~ thank you again for telling us, and for everything~ โ™ก

You have to set time aside for yourself to recover. Iโ€™m sure everyone will understand :) thank you for being awesome.

I support you in May for your cosplay I was impacted with your work and little by little I was knowing what you were doing and the effort you make daily or for months. I admire your work a lot and I am happy to know that in a few days you will be able to fulfill your dream and your mom's.

We always need a break of the routine and take care of ourselves, i hope al goes better from now on Miko.

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." -Confucius. you will be fine^^ hang in there and take care :)

a good Doge

Honestly I wouldn't mind if you take a couple of weeks out of the social media and just focus on your personal life, but I don't know the others. Regarding your work when I became a patreon of yours I never expected too much rewards for just $10 that's totally cool from you! I hope that everything goes well in the near future Miko. Keep on going!

Definitely wise words, I cannot wait for it to go up!

Mikomi Hokina

The only good thing about hitting bottom is that it means that things can only get better, so do not give up and move on. Good luck

I will, but I do not want to put you all in hold either (: With the content shot this month and November, I will be able to take holidays and release content nonetheless!

Mikomi Hokina

Thank you for letting us know! By all means, take a vacation, it sounds like you really need it and you certainly deserve one!

Oisin Keller

I'm sure it will! I just honestly can't wait to finally have MY place to settle in and create a real steady work space! It's coming soon, I guess the uncertainty of things juat made it really hard to endure :/

Mikomi Hokina

Hang in there, Miko. It'll get better.
