Half Sisters - Season 2 Complete + Pinup

The pinup is a small glimpse into Season 3! A first look at Sandy and Nikki's dorm room (not yet decorated - that will be a whole thing) and Nikki's new hair. 🥰

Hutchinson may think he wants Nikki in a liquid state, the better he may think to bottle her up and control her. But I suspect eventually Hutchinson will learn he is trying to fit the ocean into a Coke bottle! And watch-out Hutchinson for Nikki's riptide!

2025-07-27 21:23:38 +0000 UTCHi Emory! Not really a comment about the pin-ups, I know HS is in hiatus for the summer, and I already commented on how fit Nikki looks. But was rereading a few chapters and I did not want to bury this comment dealing with Chapter 63 too far back, since this comment is really about what Season 3 may hold. In Chapter 63 on pages 11 and 12 Nikki engages in a monologue that blew my socks off. She bemoans missing competition even if football was getting repetitive and boring. She then says she would even be willing to wear a skirt if that is what it took to get on a playing field. She mentions the idea of competing with Lauren trying out for field hockey. This specifically thought is just WOW!!! "You know what? Fuck this pity party. So I can't play football anymore - BIG DEAL. There's like, a million other sports out there. And now I've got this whole new body to figure out, new strengths to discover. Hell, maybe I could even... Ha! ... Even if Nicholas Palmer has to wear a skirt to play. A trophy's a trophy, right? And this case could use some new additions. Anyway it is time to face the firing squad. Shouldn't I feel more horrified by all this? Has the "girl mind virus" infected my medulla oblongata?" OMG... WOW!!!!! Talk about burying the lead!!! This is just stuffed in-between Zach showing up for the date and them leaving on it, as just some random getting ready scene while Mrs. Palmer has her talk with Zach. Yet, just earlier in the day Nikki was telling Sandy "just ONE date"! And here we seem to see Nikki accepting that she may be stuck with her body indefinitely, that she can't keep her life on hold indefinitely waiting until she can get her old body back. And for the first time not seeing her body as an insult and injury that has made her week and useless, but seeing her body as having strengths and seeing the challenge of getting to know and develop those strengths as worthy of her time, even if it is competing in sports she has never competed in before, and as a woman. Holy Cow! For Nikki that is a major mental adjustment! I am ever so anxious to see how this plays out in Season 3! With this bit of self discovery and maturity by Nikki, we can move past the sullen and always mopey and half angry-half sad Nikki begrudging her situation and fighting to reverse it. To a Nikki, who may not relish her situation but is somewhat stoically accepting it for what it is at the moment and trying to live her life as best she can as she is at present and under the condition beyond her control set by Hutchinson. Not in any way a vanquishment or surrender to Hutchinson, but simply a change in state for Nikki from solid that has been crashing up again and again against the rocks, to a liquid that can flow over and around its obstacles without friction. And when flowing with great pressure or over prolong time can actually reshape and shift the rocks and obstacles around it. I have absolutely loved Half Sisters and consider it one of your master pieces. But I have a feeling Season Three may be the best yet as Nikki finally comes into her own and begins to actually become comfortable in her own skin. Perhaps even for the very first time, or at least in a very long time, from back when she was a child called Nicky. To see that transition and empowerment over time will be amazing!

Speaking of warm hearts, I couldn't help but notice some of the comments about the bedding, I actually expected them to have one huge bed to share like Jill and Ryan, Jill and Holly or my very own Summer and Shunfen...Summer and Vienna Della Neri. Now I really can't WAIT FOR season 3 to begin! And no Easter eggs to find and pick apart. 😔 The only possible clue are the beds.
