I guess it’s all question of who comes top in the hate stakes - Davis or Kendra, Ken as was, and as we’ve seen a lot more of just how despicable Davis can be, he’s winning out. I suppose if we’d seen more of how he treated the original Sophia instead of just hearing about it from Elaine, we might think differently.

Who knows what kind of person she might turn out to be away from Davis’s malign influence but things have to be on an upward arc for her just merely being away from a psychopath who was literally one of her (former) best friends. I mean, if your bestie can be so savage and ruthless, things can only get better for you. Also I can just picture Sandy saying, “Oh great! Now there’s _two_ horribly traumatized women I gotta put back together. Thanks I guess?”

As upset as I am to see Davis set his sights on sweet, awkward Brooke as her "replacement", I do look forward to seeing what new life Kendra is going to have to navigate under her former(?) wife's care. Given how even Jill responded to being out in the world as a woman for the first time, freedom from Davis might be terrifying for her in its own way. If the pinups are any indication, though, she's at least got her makeup skills on point!
