Jack & Jill - Phase 9, Part 3

Holly's reunion with Jill ends up being a reunion with Ryan! Things between the are...tense, to say the least.

These 29 new pages of Phase 9 will have to last us until next month when we'll have more Jack & Jill. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Oh yay! I'm glad you found some time, Nina! I can't wait for you to catch up. 💖

Emory Ahlberg

been a while since i’ve had a chance to catch up on everything emory! excited to binge and wow what a start!

Nina

Thank you, Robert! 💕 For me, it's beyond fun to see such an engaging discussion happening. I absolutely love the interpretations and emotional investments in the characters. And, sure, I'm the author... But I also believe readers views are ultimately just as important (and usually far more interesting lol)

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Fin! I really love your observations. It's honestly wonderful to see the artwork resonate with you. 💕 Page #11 is also one of my favorites! I must admit I really love Jill's "corporate" look here... She's obviously trying to make an impression. And she succeeds for sure!

Emory Ahlberg

I, too, love Emory's plotting, story pacing and, of course, her compelling dialog. However, I always keep in mind that words are easily used to disguise someone's true agenda. We use words to tell lies to ourselves! To likewise contort one's bearing, posture, gestures and facial expressions is far more difficult. Emory gives us marvelous insights about the true psychological state of the characters with each page, wordlessly. Plus, I am rendered helpless even by drawings of busty, beautiful blondes and Emory knows that... 🤣

findesiecle

Thank you, findesiecle, for your finely observed comments on Emory’s art. I was too taken up in this episode’s psychological depths and twists, especially those involving Ryan, to take note, and I’m so glad that you did.

Robertlouis

It’s not so much the emergence of two “camps” in the comments, as two very different ways of looking at the key characters in the tale, I guess, and rather than see things develop into an argument, it’s probably better to respect everyone’s views. And in the end, if there’s such a thing as a casting vote, it surely belongs to our esteemed author - Emory will decide on the respective fates of Holly and Jill, and we know from the huge amount of psychological profiling and research effort that she puts into her characters that she’ll get it absolutely right in the end. I’m not buttering you up, Emory, I’m being genuinely sincere. I have complete faith in your judgment.

Robertlouis

The diffusion of the sunlight through the window panes on page #4, and the dual lighting on Ryan's libidinous new feminine form. That's cinematic mastery. The distorted reflections from the cracked mirror on page #5 that still manage to give us two wonderful, clear views of Holly's perfect "pecs". 👍 Holly's sexy curves on pages #7, #9, #10, mouthwatering, and presenting such a contrast to Jill's full-figured flawlessness. I love how you didn't succumb to the temptation of making Xu's sex goddesses carbon-copies of each other from the neck down. The foreshortened, aggressive perspective on Ryan's right arm, the clenched left fist, separated by the beautiful expanse of those big tits of his, make page #11 tell such a story. Pages #14 through #30, "Jill Fest"! Hooray! Page #14, another 10,000 word deal. The utterly feminine posture, the perfect makeup, the skin-tight, red slacks, and most of all, the "come fuck me" heels compose a novelette. Jill could have chosen to wear flats, but is instead in footwear that not only looks enticing on its own, but makes her callipygian endowments appear even more seductive. Page #25...Ziiipp...Boinngg! Page #27, Someone has become quite graceful and well adjusted to ambling about atop stiletto heels... Page #29...Thank you...

Holly may not be inherently evil, but she is inherently weak and selfish. She does evil things (procuring over 100 mostly innocent victims) and uses her sense of victimhood to rationalize her evil acts. In her mind, the ends (her relative freedom, safety and well-being) justify the means (the entrapment, forced feminization and coerced enslavement of complete strangers who happen to fit a physical and psychological profile developed by rich and powerful men seeking to dominate their victims).

Tim

I do hope that it's not too late for Holly to earn redemption, but it may be out of reach because of the sheer magnitude of her sins (especially the unwilling "acquisitions," such as Ryan and more than 100 others, more so than her work as a handler). Perhaps the only fitting act of contrition that might earn Holly her redemption would be for her to somehow orchestrate or be instrumental in the downfall of Second Dawn and its patrons to such an extent that ALL of the organization's victims would be granted their freedom AND be very well compensated for the damage the organization had done to them. She also needs to turn her own life around and focus her efforts on truly helping others to achieve their best lives possible.

Tim

I can understand the comments from readers who only go by the story, but when they read Emory's responses, I don't understand why they still see Holly as evil.... But hey, that's the fun and the beauty and what only a Great Story can achieve: that there are different arguments and opinions about both the story and the characters. I see Jill and Holly as Ying and Yang, but not in the good/bad sense. But rather in the outcome of their 'conversions'. Holly was the first boy to be converted, there was no plan, nor did the handlers have any experience. Nevertheless, she 'created' a more 'benevolent' branch of Second Dawn: The Coven, which takes care of Companions who are treated more 'humanely' than toys. Outwardly, Holly is a strong and assertive person, but inwardly she is broken because her 'conversion' is not cemented. She is afraid and remorseful because she knows she is weak and that is why she agreed to stay at Xu's side and work for him. Jill, is the other side of the coin; she appears weak and submissive on the outside, but inside, as she demonstrates, she is strong and assertive...and empathetic, which makes her loving and caring. Because Jill, in her 'conversion', had a guide who gave her hope (even if it was a lie), helped her to have a self-confidence that no one gave her when he was Jack, and who nurtured and cemented her 'conversion' --> Holly. Jill is Holly 2.0. Because of this, and despite the 'screw-ups' Holly has made over the years, I see Holly as more of a victim than a villain. On the other hand, the remaining 46 hours are a long time, I think we still have to wait to guess who shot Xu, I don't think Emory is going to 'reveal' us the hero or heroine... or villain... or even that the shooting is particularly relevant to the resolution of the story (everything seems to indicate that it is)... I think there are still many twists and turns in these 46 hours!

ckarya

Holly…is a very lucky girl. And it’s very much down to Jill’s gentle and compassionate treatment of Ryan, unlike Holly’s brutal deception of countless companions and, much worse, toys, as she sent them thoughtlessly on to their fates. Yes, she decided that doing whatever was necessary for her own survival, regardless of the consequences for others and the moral effects on herself, should be her absolute priority, but it’s far too late now to start showing regret after the hundreds of lives that she’s ruined. You can’t claim redemption for yourself after you’ve denied it to your victims.

Robertlouis

Bos, I think you really have the relationship between Ryan and Jill - or at least what it may become in time. And I love the term "Hatchlings!" Very clever! I may steal this. 😉 But for sure this fan fic, I believe, encapsulates both the sense of new beginnings and the sinister undertones.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Joe! 💖 And my friend Tim just reminded me that I've crossed the 2,000-page mark with Jack & Jill. 🤯 Well, onwards and upwards.

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Jade! 💕 That was a crucial moment for Jill. Despite her own circumstances, Jill isn't passive - she's becoming more assertive and protective of those she cares about. Holly used to be among them, but now she knows Holly is a liar and a manipulator. Of course, Holly's biggest lie to Jill was way back in Phase 5, when she told Jill to embrace her changes so that she could get close to Xu. Holly insinuated there was a plan. Holly gave her hope. And that hope, it seems, has been taken away. In fact, it was never even real. It's one thing to struggle against the harsh realities of life at Clinic 12, but it's another to have the rug pulled out from under you by someone you trusted. The hope Holly offered was a lifeline for Jill, something to cling to in the dark hours. Now? Jill can only imagine Holly, Mason, Xu, Davis, drinking coffee in a boring conference room and discussing the best way to "motivate" her into acceptance. Holly really did help her self-actualize into owning her womanhood. But if their relationship was a lie, is that called into question, too? Either way, Jill has realized she has always been alone here - at least until now. She has a genuine and real relationship with Adele and Ryan because it's one she's creating and defining for herself.

Emory Ahlberg

I love Holly, too! 💕 To me, she's definitely one of those characters that, despite her flaws and the morally gray area she occupies, has a certain charm and depth that is endearing. I love her because her complexity makes her human. She's been through so much and has shown such resilience and adaptability. It's hard for me not to root for her to find some kind of peace or redemption.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Gemma! 💕 To me, it's fascinating to explore the contrasts and parallels between characters, especially Jill and Holly. They've both been shaped by their experiences with Second Dawn, but they've responded in very different ways. Jill's innate empathy which was buried as Jack has now blossomed despite everything she's endured. As for Holly, she's both strong and vulnerable. Her past decisions will undoubtedly continue to haunt her. But they DO haunt her, and I think that means something. I actually created "Davis's Decrees" a long time ago, but officially including them on the page was fun / horrifying. 😬

Emory Ahlberg

I think you may be right, even though it's not the person I originally suspected, either.

Tim

Wow, Emory that was an incredible chapter, can't wait to see the next one!

Joe 13 Foxtrot

Good for Jill ripping into Holly.

Jade Diaz

I didn't read all the comments yet... I love reading comments under Emory's work... just finished reading and read couple first comments... And I think I know who shot Mr Xu... it wasn't Davis as I suggested in previous update... :) I am sure for 99.99%

Maggie Heels

I'm not sure why but I love Holly haha

Brandi

I both cried at panel 16, at seeing Ryan so angry and Holly's genuine sorrow and remorse. Once again, Emory, my dearest muse, you have succeeded in inspiring me greatly and I hope you'll forgive me for my late reply, but since you graciously allowed my characters into your Xuniverse, allow me a parting snippet story. And once again, thank you. Summer Chastity Crowe©™ knocked on Jill's door out of genuine concern as she was walking to the swimming pool, hearing the sound of argument as she walked past. Sure enough, Ryan and Holly were at it again, Holly slumped outside the door looking like just got gut kicked. Summer caressed Holly's face whispering words of encouragement: "You are not the monster, Holly, Di' Er Liming is. Xu and Davis are." Summer whispered the native Chinese name for Second (Di' Er) Dawn (Liming). Her soft, suave, thickly Southern accented voice cut like a knife thorough the air, her piercing russet brown eyes boring into Ryan. And Summer most certainly wasn't alone, either, other members of the "Hatchlings", the girls on whom Dr. Elizabeth hatcher seems to have latched on in a creepily possessive, unsettling maternal way were there with her. Summer spun a volleyball effortlessly on her finger and she...and they were stark naked...the smell of scented sunscreen lotion filling the room. Ryan realized his were the only pair of testicles in the entire room. Charity Winter Martin©™ & Summer Chastity Crowe©™ https://i002.imx.to/i/2021/11/13/2rz09u.jpg "-Channeling your Patrick Bateman again, Ryan? You reckon what Jill sacrificed in order to save your life?" "And you repay her sacrifices by...what? Raging out? And becoming number 19." Summer said before Charity 's hand found her abdomen and stopped her. Summer's solid 24K nipple bars were encrusted with diamonds as was her gold lapis lazuli rosary around her neck, sparkling in the reflected sunlight. "-Summer baby, please. Testicular-induced rage. Not her fault as long as she still has... those. Babe..." Charity pointed at Ryan's crotch looked at looked at Summer with her piercing hazel eyes, her Carolinas accent very thick, her other hand tracing Summer's chin with her index finger. Jessabelle Autumn Bunting©™ spoke, her blue eyes...so almost identical Jill's...accusatory and piercing. Jessabelle Autumn Bunting©™ & Summer Chastity Crowe©™: https://i002.imx.to/i/2019/12/16/272657.jpg "-Jill sacrificed too much for you to become number 19 because of your stupidity, Ryan. You were allowed to keep a lot more than we were. Your name and your two well...you know." Jessabelle added mockingly, her piercing blue eyes identical to Jill's but her accented Mid-Western, probably Minnesota. Ryan's last accuser was the most unsetting, not just because of the castration, but the appearance as a whole. Her name was Spring Zoey Finch©™ and she looked well, like Ryan would've looked like had he not wasted three years fighting and resisting. She was naturally blonde, her blue eyes perfectly identical to Ryan's. Her look terrified Ryan as did her accusatory words and her Southern thick accent, pure rural Mississippi. Summer Chastity Crowe©™ and Spring Zoey Finch©™ https://i001.imx.to/i/2017/07/11/596499fc3ba79.jpg "-We wanted to invite Jill...or is it Miss Larson now...to watch and referee our volleyball game. But I understand saving you from becoming number 19 takes priority. Miss Larson. We're playing against Olivia's team." Zoey bowed as Jill pointed to the door, less than pleased at them. "-It's Jill, not Miss Larson. Not yet. Get out all of you. And make sure you put on extra sunscreen. NOW. Warm up and I'll be there." Jill said as the girls kissed her hand , submissively, in turn, before scurrying like insects, closing the door behind them as Jill comforted Ryan. "-I'm here, sweetie. Please calm down and let's talk about it." Jill said stroking Ryan's hair. As they showered and soaped each other, Ryan struggled mightily to avert his gaze from Jill's tiny little penis and the fact that there was nothing else underneath, her empty scrotum seeming to have either shrunk against the tissue or been reabsorbed by the body. Jill just smiled and giggled as she washed herself and washed Ryan in turn before they dried...Ryan was still getting used to the cold air dryer...keeps the hair from breaking...something Jill told Ryan she learned from Holly. Ryan's mouth pursed in displeasure at Holly's name but he did not utter a word, grateful for Jill's company. "Ryan, please get dressed and tell me if you need help with your...umm, tucking the junk. Before you go, there is something you need to see and understand. No gasping, shrieking, or any more drama," Jill said, her hands reaching around Ryan's waist, almost like a lover's touch. She removed her hands to let Ryan get dressed before putting on the turquoise bikini and going to her desk drawer, retrieving a file folder. It contained two collages of three pictures each, documenting the phases of Jack transitioning into Jill. Ryan looked, covering his mouth to remain silent. The last picture depicted the aftermath of Jill's orchiectomy surgery, yet not a single scar or flaw remained. Second Dawn was truly monstrous, but they knew their medicine. https://www.patreon.com/file?h=82277443&i=13952722 Jack & Jill - Phase 8, Episode 20 Ryan fumbled with her parts as Jill knelt and expertly tucked her male genitals between her legs, pulling up her bikini bottoms rather tightly. "See, I was ordered to make a choice between you and Connie, nee Connor, my brother-in-law. Xu told me of a secret Second Dawn protocol in case they are in danger of being exposed... or in case of a successful escape. If I chose Connor, who is military, he would've escaped and he wouldn't have cared about the others, just me. All the girls Second Dawn acquired would be killed rather than be allowed to fall into the hands of law enforcement. He did not mention why specifically he was telling me this or why the protocol now of all times, but I managed to read between the lines. You... and others like you... are the reason," Jill said with a resigned sigh. "That's why Summer, a submissive, fully adapted, sweet Southern angel, raised her voice like that at you. Zoey was acquisitioned in your place, Ryan. The mirror you broke, attacking Brandon... you've done nothing but set yourself back, piss away priceless progress and time... and almost made it so that Brandon was replaced by someone much worse. "At the last minute and at Summer's insistence, Xu didn't put you to sleep... obviously... but instead, Summer's mother, Dr. Delilah Crowe, was ordered to find replacements for Hudson and Brandon. They are... much more humane. Brandon was quite humane, too... despite everything, but there are a lot of heads in Xu's noose, yours included. Do you understand me, Ryan? Nod YES, shake NO," Jill explained as Ryan nodded, fighting back tears which were gently cleaned with a handkerchief, Jill's touch being gentle. "-Good, then we have a volleyball game to coach. Ready, Ryan?"

Alex From the Tri-Cities

Great chapter and reminder of how much more advanced Jill’s compassion and empathy compared to that of Holly. It will be interesting to see if Holly gains some insights and reflective growth from Jill’s care and humanity. I also would like to comment on how pretty Ryan is becoming even when he is angry and threatening. Great psychological insights into various characters and Dr Xu’s business practices. Lovely realistic detail see ing Davis’s decrees as part of 101 ‘training unit for ‘Handlers.’

Gemma

I agree, Alyson. Holly was a clumsy, unlike her to walk into a situation blind.. She should've just click-clacked out the door...or asked someone where Jill was.

Alex From the Tri-Cities

DAVIS, not Holly. Davis was Holly's "handler" and he wanted her to be a "toy" but she refused and broke free of his grasp. Both you and Thomas forget she was the first victim.

Alex From the Tri-Cities

You really SHOULD re-read Holly's Tale, Thomas. Being dragged from your bed during love-making in no way constitutes CONSENT. Also, knowing the monstrous Mr. Davis and his equally loathsome boss Mr. Xu like I do, they did show Holly a video live-stream of her father being "killed" after she woke up from her orchiectomy and facial feminization surgery. She was offered a choice: A) LIFE to stay with Xu and Davis or B) DEATH to leave, penniless, nut-less, no ID, both Xu and Davis knowing full well she would be killed by her uncle and cronies who took over her father's business...or worse...reacquired and sold somewhere else or kept. Her remembering those names and crying herself to sleep means she still has a conscience. She still is Holden as well as Holly.

Alex From the Tri-Cities

Almost felt bad for Holly. Almost.

Thomas Tolliver

oh SHIT 💔

Alyson Greaves

Hmmm... seems Mr. Davis's Decrees could just as well be Mistress Holly's Decrees. Is Holly falling further into victimhood?... or will she be getting what she deserves?... or maybe a little bit of both? And congratulations for going over 2,000 pages, Emory.
