I enjoyed creating the art for this part, but I've never had this big of a cast on "screen" at once and it was challenging. Hopefully it turned out okay. π

He thought he could sell his research to a company and then control how they choose to use it. Of course, they ended up controlling him. 2) Emily may be Jill's younger sister, but she has always felt as if she failed him somehow when they were young adults. She went off to college at a very young age and left him to deal with their increasingly withdrawn father. 3) We will learn more about Soledad. π 4) Ryan told Jill that he believes Holly's lied about her "backstory." π¬

Stupid "Add to Dictionary/AutoCorrect" can't tell the difference anymore between "the" and "teh" anymore. I'll have to fix it, sorry I'm ranting. Anyhow, another superb masterpiece from Emory Ahlberg, the DaVinci of Daz3D and the Danielle Steele/Dan Brown of caption narratives. Where do I begin with this artwork? My emotions were a whirlwind, alternating between sympathy & sorrow as well as rage, disbelief, and nail-biting suspense. 1) The first 6 panels were the rage a Mason's arrogance and stupidity thinking himself irreplaceable, as if Xu didn't immediately order others...I'm looking at you, "Dr." Elizabeth Hatcher...to duplicate and improve his work immediately following his defection. As for redemption, on April 16, 2021 you posted a in-up of Dr. Mason as a woman if he kept his morals and refused to help Second Dawn. It is my fondest wish to see his transformation, my dear muse. He didn't keep them as as Thomas Hobbes said: "Hell is truth seen too late." He should endure what he inflicted on so many, many, many others, it is only fair as part of his redemption after all. Here in Canada we call it "double time credit for time served awaiting trial". Sometimes Triple Credit too. Rage at seeing Davis preen and boast about being broken. He's a sociopath, there never WAS anything to break in the first place. 2) Emily's love for Jill. What a great woman, she never gave up despite the sacrifices and suffering inflicted on her. She could've dropped the matter and lived life comfortably with Connie, she didn't. 3) Sorrow and sympathy for Holly. She is the first victim, she went through so much without a single beacon of kindness, morality or support to guide her through her pain. She is starting to see that Xu and Davis are the monsters, not her. And poor Maria, Siobhan, Olivia and Soledad. Soledad looks especially terrified of the monstrous Mr. Davis. 4) Lastly Ryan, please don't screw this up. I'm sure you know Holly had no choice in this. The long awaited, well-deserved judgement of Second Dawn is at hand and I'm biting my nails and awaiting with baited breath the next installment, thinking of Xu's threat to Jill that all the girls of Second Dawn will be killed rather than be allowed to be released. I feel too much blood has spilled already and they have suffered enough. If the Valkyries choose death, let death come for those who deserves it.

I think it was Davis who shot Xu... when he realized at last moment what is going on... maybe by recognizing Emily or something... he decided to act same way as Christopher Waltz in Inglorious Basterds movie LOOOL But something is telling me that there will be long cueue of people eager to leave a permanent sign on his forhead showing who he really is before he will be left alone... β£οΈ
