Maybe the meeting with the elders will even convince Alaric to choose a female name (or let Rowena choose one for him). People will need a name that gives them hope. "Prince at heart, but a queen at image" beautifully said. Alaric's image as queen is so beautiful 😍!

Waking in the night to discover his waist cinching? His feet slowly becoming to small for his boots. The first person to mention the word 'woman' or 'maiden' around him. EDIT - just realised there's a parts 1 and 2 which answer that 😂

There’s plenty going on without any actual action happening , as Alaric - silly name for a beautiful woman - comes to terms with her new self and all that it means. I presume you’ve already got the rest of the tale more or less mapped out, but there’s scope here for a full saga if you wanted to develop it into one.
